XObase is an XML database delivered
via PHP.
It requires any web server that is running PHP 4.03 or higher.
Certain features such
as 128 data encryption require Mcrypt-lib to be compiled into or loaded at runtime
with PHP.
Timed release of data requires access to cron-tab and as such should be run in a dedicated
server environment (not a shared server account).
XObase will run fine for most purposes on shared server accounts.
XObase does not require any database set up, ODBC drivers, licenses or other third
party installs.
