XObase is an XML database delivered
via PHP.
The XML componant of XObase integrates directy with SQL in larger sites where large datasets and or and versioning/rollback is a requirement . The SQL component of XObase can use its own internal SQL-light engine or natively supports MySQL. XObase can run without SQL as a small to medium size site CMS or ecom solution.
XObase utilizes a unique schema which both allows the flexibility
to describe and format content in an infinite variety of ways,
and to simultaneously let the content itself determine who gets
to see it and when.
The XObase has
a pre-built administration component for managing web content. This publisher automatically
configures its editors to the data models you create. There is no need to write xml
editors or DTD's in order to publish.
XObase contains an API for building custom applications.
